You do not have to carry this alone
The Holding Space Circle is a free, professionally facilitated support group for bereaved parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss in any form — miscarriage, stillbirth, TFMR, IVF loss, or the loss of a baby in early infancy.
Held bi-monthly in-person in Singapore, this is not a therapy session and not a workshop. It is simply a circle of people who understand — where you can speak freely, grieve openly, or simply sit quietly and feel less alone.
“In my 14 years of lived experience and practice, the most common thing I hear is: ‘I didn’t know support like this existed.’ You are not alone — and you deserve to know that.”
— Vernessa Chuah, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Coach

Words from the circle
“I had never spoken about my loss to anyone outside my family. Sitting in the circle was the first time I felt that what I was carrying was real — and that it mattered.”
— Bereaved Mother, Singapore
“I came not knowing what to expect. I left feeling lighter. Vernessa has a way of holding the room that is unlike anything I’ve experienced. It feels safe from the moment you walk in.”
— Circle Participant, Singapore
“As a husband, I wasn’t sure I would fit in. But Vernessa made it clear that everyone’s grief belongs here. I finally had a place to put it.”
— Bereaved Father, Singapore

Pregnancy Loss Journal
A safe space between your hands
No words can describe this loss. Grief is raw and messy — not something that can be neatly wrapped in a bow. You are experiencing a bag of emotions and stretching to the limit of human pain. In these moments, breathe. It’s okay not to be okay all the time. You’re allowed to feel and be as you are. This is your experience and no one else’s.
Journaling can be therapeutic and healing. This book is designed with blank spaces for you to explore — fill the empty pages with your words, drawings, poems and memories of your child who is so precious to you.
When you articulate your thoughts and emotions with paper and pen, you give meaning to the process and acknowledge how you feel. This book is your ‘mind space’ — safe and free from judgment, criticism and advice.
There is no right or wrong way to process a loss. Grief makes way for healing — so thank you for being courageous and willing to be vulnerable to process it. You are enough.
💝 A meaningful gift. Know someone navigating pregnancy or infant loss? The journal makes a deeply compassionate gift — for a grieving friend, a family member, or someone whose journey you want to gently support. Free mailing within Singapore, with a personal gift message option.
- Designed specifically for pregnancy and infant loss
- Blank spaces for words, drawings, poems & memories
- Guided prompts to help when words feel impossible
- A judgment-free, private ‘mind space’ entirely your own
- Free mailing within Singapore · Gift messaging available
Wave of Light Singapore
🕯️ October 9 – 15 · Remembrance Week
October 9 – 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Week — bringing awareness and light to this not-talked-much-about topic. A time for bereaved parents to honour our beloved babies who were taken from us far too soon.
Your precious child is no longer with you here physically, yet they are always a part of you and your family. Taking the time to acknowledge your love — and the hope you carried for a different future.
Together with the power of community, we hold a safe and healing space when we come together with our vulnerabilities. We can express our emotions and still move forward with this beautiful energy of grief.
🕯️
“Wave of Light happens around the world on 15 October at 7pm — wherever you are — where we honour our beloved babies who are dearly loved and forever missed.”
As people in each time zone light a candle at 7pm and keep it burning for one hour, it creates a 24-hour wave of light as it moves around the world — grieving parents coming together to remember our babies who were taken from us far too soon.

You may be wondering…
Is the Holding Space Circle really free?
Yes — completely free, always. There is no catch. This circle exists because Vernessa believes that no bereaved parent should face loss without support, regardless of their circumstances.
Will I be expected to speak?
You always have a choice. You are never pressured to share. You may speak when you feel ready, or simply sit, listen, and receive. Being present is enough. Listening to others’ stories can itself be deeply healing.
Do I need to have experienced a recent loss to attend?
Not at all. Whether your loss happened last month or many years ago, you are welcome. Grief does not expire, and neither does the need for a safe space to hold it.
I am currently pregnant — can I still attend?
Yes, you are most welcome. If you are currently pregnant and wish to process or acknowledge a previous loss, please let Vernessa know in advance so she can pre-frame the circle and hold space for you with extra care and sensitivity.
Can I bring my partner or a support person?
Partners are warmly welcome. Loss affects entire families, and all who grieve belong in the circle. Please register each attendee separately so Vernessa can hold a place for everyone.
What is the difference between this circle and private coaching?
The Holding Space Circle is a peer support group — a space to be witnessed and connect with others who understand. Individual coaching with Vernessa goes deeper: a structured, one-to-one journey tailored entirely to you. Many people find the circle a gentle first step before exploring coaching.
Come as you are.
You are welcome here.
Spaces at each circle are kept intentionally small. Register so Vernessa can hold your place and send you everything you need ahead of the session.
